Submariner bi metallic bracelet

Hi Everyone...my first thread on here! I have worn my rolex submariner 24/7 for about twenty years and the bracelet now has gaps in it and there is loads of movement. Clearly well worn. Anyone know if these can be refurbished or rebuilt? Goldsmith's in Nottingham today quoted around £3500 for a new bracelet. I nearly fainted!! There must be another way?? Any advice appreciated. Search "Michael Young" here, you'll be amazed at what he can do. I believe that his website is still classicwatchrepair.com Welcome to TRF!

Second Tim's suggestion. There have been several success stories with Michael Young's work here on TRF. Good luck,

Genesis watchmaking in UK might be able to help.

Michael Young is the man. I believe he charges 200 dollars to restore a 2 tone bracelet. That's where mine will go when its time.

I recently had a 93150 restored by Michael Young, I am sure it was gone for less than four weeks.

Welcome to TRF!

Glad you didn't actually faint.

Let us know if you get it done, and enjoy the forums. If you stay here long you may wish you'd paid the 3500 and never found this place.

That is a very good price. I am shocked that's all it cost because I have seen his work.

200 to restore the one you have or 3,000 plus for a new one from Rolex. Yes, the answer is not difficult. I cannot believe someone here in the US has not started up a bracelet restoration business.
