Yes, OP does mix and match a few limited design elements, but putting a Luminor dial in a Radiomir case isn't one of them. Did you also polish out your crown guard?

Hey Nelson,
welcome to TRF, sir T4S - good to know that the CG is reversible (and remains perfectly flush against the case when reversed) -Serge

Lowering the crystal height on a PAM 587?
Hi Nelson,
In your post title you named it: "372...587...127". After reading, it appears the "127" reference might refer to the 372 having its crown guard flipped. My question is, I love my 587, but the only thing I would love to figure out how to change is the height of the crystal so I can make it lower in profile. I much prefer the style of the crystal on a vintage Panerai Reference 6154, or even on the PAM 127. Do you know if there is a way to make the PAM587 crystal lower in profile? Thanks! Jake

Shave it down is probably the only thing you could do. This is very drastic though. Alternatively sell it me and buy a 232 ;-)
Hammer has a link on Paneristi where he profiles a plexi crystal for a vintage rolex.

Yes Jake, in the process inverting the CG as the 127 it looks like the 587.
I handle the 587 and if remember well the crystal looks like same as the 372. The only way you can make it lower the plexy on 587 is shaving it and i think many ppl out there with the knowledge how to make it. Good luck my friend ! Quote:
