etiquette question..
hello, in my continuing hunt for a decent 1960's 5513 I am looking at one with nice colour to hands and markers, except for some darker rings or stains to a few of the markers, does this suggest a problem of some sort? The etiquette issue is should i link to the sales pictures themselves as they have details of the seller.

I think that darker stains could be caused by water damage Impossible to say without the pictures. I wouldn't buy one that is damaged since there is always an option to wait for a perfect one. :)

I wouldn't touch a watch with that sort of discolouration to the markers. Some would consider it damage and you will struggle to sell it in the future if you need to.
I would also stay away from ebay as it takes some experience to not buy a dud, which I think you inevitably will based on the watches you have shown us so far.

I have seen some good original examples that have some inconsistency to the patina as in this example , often darker in center , this does not necessarily indicate damage , but most vintage lovers prefer a more even patina. So this watch would likely sell a discount to one with more even patina.
