I am this close to pulling the trigger on a ROC Panda. The seller is half decided on selling and I am half decided on buying o.o It is an amazing watch though, and the rarity of it makes it a little more special.!

Will take some time to close the deal if it goes through.

Just wondering if you could possibly post a side by side pic with your Panerai or SubC?

I just want to get an idea of the size of the 39mm ROC and how it looks on the wrist.

The 39mm ROC to me is the perfect incarnation of the ROC. The dial is well balanced, and the movement is in proportion to the case. I really hope the new ROC in-house movement is made for a 39mm case!

I was so close to getting the Panda 26300 for all of the reasons described above. In the end I went for the 26022BC.

Sure thing. I'll try to get you a shot alongside a few other pieces. I previously had the Diver/white dial 15400 combo and flipped the RO for the ROC because I just felt it was a little more versatile, was better balanced altogether (ie 15400 too thin/big vs ROC is a tad taller), and the fact that I didn't have a chrono in the collection. If I had to make a comparison is wears right between the Sub C and the older 16800. So comfortable, classic panda combo, RO styling - can't go wrong.

I find (personal preference) the 15400 a little more plain and simple, and more to the dressy side. While the ROO seems a little too much for me.

Seems like a ROC will be a good option for me.

Yes I think people discount it because they see "39mm" when it wears more like an average 42mm watch. But there's flexibility both ways (larger or smaller wrist) with the integrated bracelet.

The 25860s preceded the 26300s and were the original ROCs. Mine is an E series and the deployant is rectangular and does not look the AP logo. It also has the older green octagonal box instead of the wooden one (Radcliffe has a blue 25860 in the classifieds now). I believe there are some minor differences in the case (look at screw hole position for the bracelet-higher for 25860 and centered for 26300). All it means to me is that the bracelets and conversion plots are not interchangeable. The straps I think still are all 26/18. The movements are the same modified F Piguet 1185.

Same movement. The difference is in the case construction. The 25860 is older and the hex nuts are decorative, whereas on the 26xxx series they are functional (like the Offshores).
