BEWARE! member mattsandy is a THIEF!

This individual is named in at least 2 other threads here as a scammer. I have a better word, thief.

On January 15 this year he listed this older Datejust, and I bought and paid for it the same day:

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=391932

I eventually got this story about the shipping:

"Hi Al

No tracking number, it was sent via International express airmail........
.......The service is very reliable and it is fully insured.

Let me know once you have received it.

Regards
Matt"

I'm still waiting.

Now, with his name coming up with other members having problems paying for but not receiving goods from him, I've dug a bit deeper. He apparently sold the same watch last year:

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=369022

"Sold early September . Buyer very happy"

THIS buyer sure as Hell isn't!

It would appear that his sales were "sales".

Thankfully, due to his newbieness members paid by Paypal, so it's a matter of filing a claim ASAP and for us to ban this sod, done.

He had a Day-Date for sale I almost pulled the trigger on but was nervous about doing an international deal. Glad I passed but someone did buy it. I wonder how that buyer made out.

I hope you can get your funds back.

If the Seller is from Europe I can contact the Rolex retailer and they have better ways to intimidate the seller. Rolex have people working to find scammers like this. What data from him do you have ?

I know about one case.
