Out of curiosity,I did ask in my local AD whilst looking at the new SD 4000,he showed me one he had sourced for a client and said pay a deposit and we can generally source any model within two to three months. They have abandoned lists to avoid people putting their names down from all over the UK.They are independent, not part of a chain and would rather have a relationship with their clients.I have bought a few pieces from them over the years and respect that so no I won't divulge which one it is.
Kind Regards Nigel |

I couldn't get a SS white faced Daytona from my dealer, a national chain. Had to get it from S. America. This was last October.
Also, just bought 18K black face Daytona that had to specially ordered from Geneva. Just picked it up. |

My AD had the black dial available, but my wife held out for about 6-8 weeks before they got a white dial in. She put a deposit down and everything, so she was really on a "wait list."
