PAM 50 strap issue

Hi everyone. I had purchased a leather (maybe gator) OEM strap from a member on another forum, paneristi. I had worn it for a month or so and the stitching came off. The stitching that holds the spring. I will send pictures ASAP but wanted to know if this is a common issue and if it can be fixed.

I called Panerai last week and they had mentioned they do not cover the strap, which was strange to me.

Thoughts on how this can be fixed or if it can't be fixed at all.

Thanks in advance

Ash

In my experience, that is not normal. If I bought this directly from a retailer I'd look for them to replace the item but I wouldn't expect Panerai to warranty anything sold second hand

I figured it wasn't "normal." I wish I knew how to fix it or find someone that could fix it!

The strap looks very old to me and I would not use it. Broken or not. Sorry.
