Agree with you there. I just don't find that much fun in double-checking generally-accepted bezel and dial "marks" nowadays, nor are today's premium prices particularly palatable to me. Nowadays I just personally find it more fun to learn about and hunt for things like 1530's, Zephyrs, and other interesting watches that haven't been discussed (and overpriced) to death yet.
