Good point. Is there a mini speaker on this watch? The sound has to be terrible if there is.

It does look a bit thick, I wonder how high it sits on the wrist.

Ok but . . . .

Why spend this kind of money on a watch - that's digital BTW / will be updated pretty soon - and does less than you iPhone ?

seriously, for a knowledgeable watch forum this questions are silly...

IT'S NOT A WATCH, it's an electronic wearable that tells time....

That's a big assumption. Maybe smart watches will continue to be unpopular and irrelevant like they are now. Why is it somehow inevitable that smart watches, which have existed for a while and nobody cares about, will take over the world?

I secretly hope that Rolex prices drop so I can pick up a few more

I do agree with most of the posts above. Having owned a very capable Samsung Gear 2 for a short while, I realized that it was a mere gimmick. A chore to check in on every alert, charge every day, and sometimes tangle between the connections. The shine will certainly wear off within 60 days. I suspect the price greatly declines and the gold version will be worth at or below current scrap prices within 2 years.
