WWYD? - What would you do?
Just bored and thinking out loud. Pictures seemed more fun.
So, what would you do....??? My State of the Collection 16610, 116610lv, 79220r, pam 232 - aka the keepers 116520, 214270, pam 111g - aka the sacrifices Option 1. Option 2. Option 3. Option 4. Option 5. Option 6. I'm open to more options that involve the "sacrifices" and a up to 4k cash. YG is not considered as of now. Non-Rolex suggestions allowed also.

I would pick four you move two very nice watches for one super watch and don't bring any cash to the table.

This must have taken a lot of time!
Option 4 for me. Don't trade the Daytona! It looks like you want to get rid of the Exp! |

What about option 1, but keep the Daytona and move the Tudor?

The "sacrifices" are all nice, just don't get enough wrist time. Also, for anyone thinking this, this post is not a shill to sell my watches. I plan on consigning my watches with a dealer. I'm not up for private sales.

sell 116520, 214270, pam 111g and get an AP ROO. you need some diversity of brands.

Nice option 6. While the ROO is beautiful, don't think it fits my 6.5" wrist. The 232 is the limit for me. It works because of the wire lugs and thinness of the watch. I'm open to other options. I had been considering a 15300, but the bezel scratch magnet concerns me.

If they aren't getting wrist time, let them go.

I don't like to say never, but the 232 is not going anywhere. Probable my favorite watch.

To me option one would streamline the collection nicely with a top end piece keeping a nice diving theme.

Mik,
I voted for option 1 b/c my thought is for you're going through all the trouble to make a move, you need to come out of it with something really special...however, to be honest you have a spectacular collection. If not doing anything and just enjoying your SOTC was an option, I would have voted for that. |

I have actually thought about just logging off from the forums for a bit and be happy with what I have. To be honest, I can't believe at times I have amassed such a collection. If you would have told me 7 years ago, I'd have 7 stellar watches like this, I would have told you no way. That first $5,000 on the 16610 was hard to spend. But since then......well, it gets easier!

Option 4 Though - I think you should try a vintage character watch. If after 6 months you are not head over heels (you will be) then you'll most likely make most of your money back.
