Has anyone heard anything about any discontinued models?

They're sadly discontinuing the Day Date II 41mm and the Datejust II to follow and also the metal bezelled Yachtmasters...

The only bit of that that makes any sense is the DDII.

There is no replacement for the DJII (the OP doesn't have a date)
The steel YM is fairly new and will likely retain their PM bezels, like the Daytona only the PM case will have ceramic bezels.

Are you quoting a source or speculating?

Rolex has said that the D-Blue is a limited production watch. It will be discontinued at some time. Just when is anybody's guess!

I am hoping that it will be a low production model and the price skyrockets!

They won't drop the YMII, maybe phasing out the YM.
