First post - First Rolex
Guys and Gals,
So i have been lurking on this site for the last few weeks picking up advice and information as i closed in on my first Rolex purchase. I've been a big fan since my Grandpa let me try on his DD back when I was 10 and have been waiting for this day ever since. So, today I went to my local AD and picked up a brand new Platty and I am digging it. Nothing beats the feeling of picking up your very first Rolex and i have not taken my eyes off it since. Truly a work of art and even as i look at it now, I'm thinking of enjoying that same feeling when I purchase a SS Daytona. I know good old Grandpa is looking down even as I type this with a big smile on his face!! Can't thank you all enough for the insights and information and look forward to many years of Rolex talk here on TRF. I'll post a pic of this beauty tomorrow. Cheers! |
