Just a little update..
Car accident was on 1/10, I went in for surgery on 1/15. This was to put two pins in my hand to help straighten and heal the broken bone in my hand, there were also three bones that were chipped. I am healing, but still very swollen and in a bit of pain. The good news is that my car is almost fixed and in about four to six weeks time I should get the cast off and be able to return to normal life... with a little physical therapy that is... So, my watches will wait for me and when the day comes, expect a VERY enthusiastic wrist shot to be posted It could have been much much worse, life is fragile and short, be careful and live every day to the fullest! Looking forward to this... |

Well, finally an update...
After the surgery I spent six weeks in a cast along with two metal pins to set the broken bone in my hand. I got the cast off, and the pins removed a couple weeks ago. My wrist was pretty swollen, but I have finally gotten to the point where I can wear my sub. I'm especially happy knowing I will be wearing it on Sunday night, when we celebrate my brother's recent engagement. So after over two months, here we are. Enjoy your weekend, I know I will. Oh, and a quick X Ray, just to show how tough I am .... |

Turn injury into opportunity I say, sell your watch you don't need it for a while, and put an order in for a new Baselworld piece, so you will be ready to rock it when the wrist is better.... P.s. that is a joke some wont think it.
Hope you get better, wrists a not a fun injury, make sure once it is well you use it as much as possible to avoid decreased function.
