Opposites Day Question

We've all seen the threads and pictures about Subs and Explorers showcased in suits, tuxes, and board rooms. But does anyone have any pics of diving with their Day-Date? How abound snapshots of a DJ on top of a mountain? Photos of a Daytona while spelunking? Just curious!

I guess that we've all seen the photos of Jocke's DJ after using it to crush boulders....

PS.- I have no idea if it is opposites day, or if it even exists or not! I'm just bored!!!

I think you have stumped the band with this one...

I wouldn't say the opposite really applies. The argument behind it being ok to wear a tool watch in an office is simply an aesthetic one. People argue that it looks just as good. I disagree but that's beside the point.

The tool watch in the context of spelunking or diving is that the watch is actually more suited functionally to that situation. You dive with your sub because it was made to dive. The bezel and the WR etc. The explorer is tough and brushed and designed to functionally explore.

So whilst people could probably get away with wearing a daytona rock climbing, they don't because the "your daytona is not designed to go rock climbing. you're going to scratch the polished surfaces on your bracelet climbing rocks" argument actually makes sense because that daytona is gonna get scratched. The "don't wear your sub with a suit because it looks wrong" argument doesn't make sense to many because they don't see it that way. What looks good is a subjective opinion. A gold Daytona that's been scratched to all hell because it's been taken rock climbing is not subjective.

My Day-Date II at about 2 feet of salt water, and on top of a mountain in Poland checking out Castle Ruins.
