Brand new bezel on my RG DD, it wasn't cheap but worth every penny IMO!
After beeing awfully tired of my old bezel I decided to buy a new one from one of our AD:s here in Stockholm.
The funny thing is that I didn't realize how bad the bezel was until I saw a spanking new 118135 at the AD. The difference between a new bezel and my bezel was really monumental. Knowing how expensive the bezel was I had to think long and hard before I pulled the trigger (it costs as much as an Rolex 6694). The number one selling point to justify this purchase to myself was that the bezel just makes up so much of the watch. Since I don't have the president bracelet I wasn't afraid that the new bezel would be too blingy. When I picked up the watch from the AD, I was stunned. It looks like a different watch! It was really like getting a whole new watch. I saved the old bezel with a future plan of melting it and turning it into an Everose ring. In the future I am planning to give this watch to my wife and it would be cool to give here a "Rolex ring" to go with the watch. If some forum member is thinking about changing bezel on their watch, I just say- DO IT!!! You will not regret it! Time for pics. Here are some pics of the watch with the old bezel: As you can see the old bezel was pretty wore. Let's forget the old and let's see the new instead: As you can see it's quite the difference. Hope you like the new look as much as I do! |

Out of curiosity did you try to source through a channel other than rsc?
It certainly looks immaculate and perfect. |

I am always on the hunt for new dial etc. If I can find a nice NOS bezel for my 1803 at a fair price I would be all over it! I am so happy with this one and the effect it gives the watch... |
