before that purchased, I told that the explorer is not the one for her, but she said she glads to have her own opinion.

At least, she got back the DJ now

In fact, darn you, I went to my AD whilst at the mall today and tried one on just like it! Next to it was another, but with rhodium dial. I think I liked the white dial a little better.

Then my guy had me try on a white gold Day Date with meteorite dial and teardrop-shaped diamond markers at 6 and 9. Mmmm Hmmmm... anybody got $32,000 I could borrow?

Next I tried a men's DJ in yellow gold with diamond bezel and markers on a leather strap. Shiny and sparkly, but I think if I'd wear diamonds they'd be on a ring instead. Can't recall the dial color on that one... Still, loads of fun to try on.

Then I tried on a midsize DJ with black MOP and romans on a jubilee - but you know, now that seems SO small, though that would have been my choice 6 months ago! How fickle! I'm liking the 36mm and jubilee quite a lot - and the fluted bezel, too - all three things I wouldn't have considered before TRF helped me see the light....

You are a bad influence, Karis! But my common sense side knows there's no watch in store for a long while - still recovering from concrete work on the drive, and now we're starting on landscaping and new fence....

WOW Lisa, sounds like an awesome AD visit! Ahhh, love the rhodium too as you know! There's just something about a white dial...clean, crisp, fresh! White dials have always been my preference. And the DDs are just breathtaking aren't they?! Mamma-mia!

I think you should definitely make that jump to a 36mm next time round. Told ya it would happen! LOL! All of a sudden the mid-size looks a tad small.

Congrats Karis. It's good to see you back in your "happy place."

You just can't beat a white dial with Romans, but I may just be a little bit biased.

Too Late...

Same thing happened to me a while back with a Tudor 7928, POINTED crown guards. Of all the watches I have traded or sold over the years, I ONLY regret having traded away this one. Still have not replaced it-maybe someday.

You did 'right' by getting another!!

AWESOME WATCH!!! Wear them in good health.

Sincerely, Stan.
