The Deep sea in the flesh is absolutly awesome...

I was not permitted to take any pictures, because of the problems it could create. but my overview is below..

If you are not sure about getting one of these or ordering one, think again, you will not be dissapointed, it is worth the wait.

1. The watch is a massive 43mm and has more presence than the biggest breitling.
2. The new strap and the way it adjusts is a superb piece of craftsmenship, words cannot explain how good this idea is.
3 . The new Blue LUme as unbelievable you have to see it to believe it
4 the watch weighs i would predict about 8 ounces its big.
5. On the back when the watch is taken apart the back actually splits into 2 pieces with the centre of the back beling made in titanium.
6. the platinium on the ceramic bezel looks absoluty beautiful.

I am really lost for words as what esle to say, this watch is just unbelievable and you have to see it touch it to really appreciate what it stands for.

will post the pictures I was given from the Rolex Press pack

Thanks, Mark.

The correct weight is 222 grams (about 7½ ounces).

Not sure what you mean by "platinum on the ceramic bezel"!! Could you kindly elaborate please?

Thanks - JJ

How pronounced it the domed sapphire crystal? Only slightly domed or "superdomed". I would really like to know that!

Also, you say it was adjusted easily. I know about the "Glide Lock" system, but could you make it sit perfectly on your wrist?

Is the caseback in fact DOMED as reported??

Oh okay.....which is similar to the numbers on the new SS GMT-IIC. Platinum blasted onto the bezel.
