Thinking about my first AP...
Well...that time has come where I'm seriously considering getting ahold of my first AP. One that I have admired for a while. Thinking about flipping a couple of my Rolexes to put it in the collection.
Just wanted to see what you guys thought. My BLNR (bought this month) and a Milgauss (circa 2014) for an I series AP ROO Diver. Just the thought of finally getting an AP gets me pumped. What does everyone think?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Tough because BLNR is sexy but the finishing on the diver and AP in general is amazing. Go with whatever makes you happy wearing it.

Go with your gut, if you are cool flipping two for one do it! You can always get another BLNR

If you're thinking of flipping the blnr this early, obviously it doesn't sing to you. Flip it and enjoy the AP

I will not hesitate to flip Rolex to AP if I have multiple Rolex watches. AP is just a whole new level. However, I will keep at least one Rolex as a daily.

AP is great, but, i wouldn't trade a BLNR and MG for a Diver....It would need to be something more special to lose those two great Rolexes.

What other watches do you own? I would probably keep the BLNR and flip the milgauss + cash for the Diver if it were me.

BLNR is one of my fav Rolex models, but I would dump it without thinking twice for an AP... Once you get your 1st AP, you'll understand.

Flip the Rolexes if you no longer like/wear them and pick up the Diver. I flipped my BLNR to pick up my 15300 and only regret it a little bit In an ideal world, I'd hold on to the BLNR and flip the Milgauss and save for the Diver.

In the last 6 months I've sold my SS Daytona, WG DD, and Milgauss GV. I still have my old TT Sub (rarely worn) and 216570 Polar.
3 months ago I bought a steel 15400 and a Diver. I adore them both, and couldn't be happier. The Diver constantly surprises me....a year ago I would have said it wasn't my kinda thing. Now, I cannot wait to put it on my wrist. I wear the Exp 11 whenever I don't want to wear an AP, and I love it. I bought a BLNR a year ago, but it rarely gets worn and will probably be off to another home soon.... So, IMHO, if you fancy the Diver....then you must absolutely get the Diver. It's on another level. You won't regret it.
