Will RSC in NYC do a dial replacement [swap for change from black to white]? Nothing wrong, I just want a different dial on my DD.

Just not sure if they insist it be done via the AD or RSC directly.

I think for the dial replacement if the watch is not new they might ask that they service the watch.

I agree - they will insist on a service when a dial change is requested on a used watch, they won't just do a dial swap (even if a service is not really needed).

This insisting on getting it serviced just for a dial swop seems like overkill to me. But maybe it's just another example of RUSA policies?

Why not have a Rolex trained AD watchmaker do the change? At least in Denmark, you can normally have dials exchanged for free within the first year after purchase. I had this done once with a DJ (swop from silver to dark blue dial) at my AD.

What I´ve heard so will RUSA only put a white dial in a watch that have it from the start.
I know it sounds strange you can change to every color except white. Just ask them.

Did you get the dial for free? Or do you mean the don´t ask for some money for the work?

You might check and see if there is a local jeweler who can change the dial for you. I have one that will change dials for $50.
