Should this be polished?

Does this bother you?

Who is going to see it, I would not worry, wait until service time or maybe if you want to sell

It's underneath the case so I wouldn't get it polished until normal service time or going to sell, as has already been said. I would agree with that

No it doesn't really, but if it bothers you it's very quick and easy to remove by yourself using a fibre pencil . Can be bought for a few bucks only.
I use Bergeon 2834C, works fine also on steel.

Always place a piece of tape along the lugs when changing bracelets. But no, don't polish. To be specific, you would have to rebrush with a circular buff to get the original satin finish and grain orientation

I wouldn't but if it bugs you then do it. No one will see it either way but do what makes you happy

Wouldn't polish it but to me it speaks to carelessness in handling. I notice it still has the green sticker on back. Did you just buy this? I assume your dealer scratched it when he was trying to quickly check the serial for inventory or appraisal.

No. You will get some more, gives the watch its character. Watch without marks is a watch in your safe. Ask yourself, would you enjoy your watch locked up in your safe?

If you wear it long enough, it may just polish out on its own

It bothers me because removing the bracelet without taping the lugs is amateur night. The person performing that task had ONE JOB: don't scratch the watch.

However, I wouldn't do anything about it. Look how nice and sharp those lug edges are.

There aren't many places that will do less harm than good when polishing a watch. Leave it alone until you're sure you've found one (if you ever decide to do anything about it at all).
