Thinking of buying a Rolex Deep Sea
Hi I'm considering the merits of the Rolex DeepSea D-Blue dial. I can pull off the 44mm case size. Scanning the forums it seems the DeepSea is an extremely popular model. The Ad near me had one in stock but it sold and he's waiting for more. Any suggestions on price and places around Florida where I can get a deal. A PM would be greatly appreciated from any knowledgeable forum member. Thanks in advance.

Most AD's have waiting lists for them. You'll pay a premium at a grey dealer, or even on here.
So if you want the best price it will most likely be full msrp at an AD; in which case you'll need to get yourself on a list or two.

I really like the DSSD, even more so the Deep Blue version - however there is a pre-owned price difference of nearly 2k which seems quite hard to justify IMHO when the difference in retail prices are so minimal.
