Favorite RG watch?

Hi all, wanted to know which is your favorite full gold RG watch?

My 3 favorite are the Patek 5980 and 5711, and also the AP Jumbo, think it might be the nicest with the blue dial, what do you think which is your favorite in these and if there are other full RG pieces you like outside of these which are they?

Never seen any of them in real life but judging by all the pictures I've seen of these watches I vote 5711.

Out of those three--the AP.

However, not a fan of RG on bracelet (albeit I think they look great on other peoples wrists), I prefer rubber and RG like the AP 26401...THAT is a RG keeper.

I think my favorite is the AP, then 5980 then 5711, need to see in real but I think I much prefer the dark dial color of the 5980 over the light dial 5711, when you see pics of the 5980 in the sun it's stunning, if the 5711 had it my favorite would be 5711 or the Jumbo, I just love blue dials a 5711-1R with the blue dial of the 5711P now that would be the king of the jungle for me, Rolex also has nice blue dials, not a huge fan of the bluesy but the WG sub blue dial and bezel are beautiful also, the only thing as far as I know that gives Patek the edge over Rolex is the chameleon dial, don't think the sub changes color like the 5711/12 dials do, the AP blue dials are also stunning but owners of them and of 5711 say the Patek dials are much nicer in different lightings than the AP, but I wouldn't say no to one…

For now I'm not ready to wear a full gold piece, but probably in a few years, also depends where you live, in some places it's better to keep a "low" profile concerning watches and other things, wearing one of these in Paris could bring you problems, I almost got stabbed for a pack of cigarettes once, so a gold watch...

Mine as well. Although the silver dial on a DDII gives the chocolate some competition.

Of the 3 you gave options for, AP gets my vote.

Have to agree with Thomas, love both my DDII and the ROC. I have yet to try on any of the 3 so can't really say if I prefer them.

Call me old fashioned but none - I don't like gold sport watches. I like gold and I like sport watches but separate.

Nevertheless, any of those will be lovely

Mike is the bezel chipped at 11oclock or is it the pic which gives that impression?

Well I am not a huge fan of dress pieces, many are beautiful but not for me, but let's face it apart from the ROO's here the 2 Patek and the RG Jumbo are "sporty" dress pieces, it's not a Rolex, at the same time I don't do pit fights against bears or pit bulls so for what I do they are fine

I prefer on looks alone the AP, but I am a real sucker for 3 things in watches, moon phases, blue dials and see through case backs, if it had a black dial I would prefer the Pateks
