bark finish 14k/ss oyster

I recently purchased a bark finish 14k/ss oyster at a local auction and was wondering if anyone could tell me just how common or rare a model this is. It's from late '69, ref 1601, cal. 1570. The case is bark with a fluted 14k bezel and it has a jubilee band. All of the stainless is bark finished, none of the gold is. Thanks.

A picture would be great, if you've got one.

Still to small to see. Geez, that sounds too familiar...

Not a factory finish as far as I know...I think someone tore that case and bracelet up.

Picture is too small to see anything in detail, but I will go on the record as Rolex never offered the bark finish on any SS or TT watch.
