Got me some El Primero luvin'
Although I lurk around here quite often, I rarely post. However, I'm just too happy and excited with my newest acquisition that I just had to share those feelings with you guys.
Been on the lookout for a Zenith for some time now but was never really able to get a good deal on one. Until a few days that is. As soon as I saw the watch I knew that was my kind of watch. Spotted it on a local craigslist-like website we have over here and it so happened to be in the same city as me. Exchanged a few messages with the owner and we set up a meeting after work. So here it is; my Chronomaster Open Power Reserve. Now I know that it's not something THAT special as some watches we see over here but I'm so happy with it. I just LOVE that watch. Now it's time to ditch the bracelet and put on a nice croc strap on there. This watch doesn't go well with a bracelet. Anyway, here are a few pics. |

Cheers gents. It was indeed in pristine condition. And at the price I got it, I can surely say it was a great deal.
On another note, can somebody recommend a good strap maker that I can get in touch for a nice gator strap? I went to my local Zenith AD and they quoted a price of €450 (around $600) and that's not justified in my opinion. |

Beautiful watch
I've got the Chronomaster 1969 which is similar to yours but came on a Zenith gator strap. The replacement strap cost is ridiculous so mine lives on a £30 Hirsch Duke gator patterned calf and works well IMO.
