Buying a used Yatch Master
I'm new on here; this is my first post.
What is the difference in Yatch Masters based on the years they were made? Specifically the difference between a 2003 and a 2004 and then the difference between a 2004 and a 2008? Finally what is the standard price for 2003, 2004 and 2008? Thank you Jason |

Welcome!
There are no changes that I am aware of in the YM from 03 to 08, outside of the Chapter Ring... ROLEXROLEXROLEX and serial number engraved under the crystal, on the case. GREAT choice of watch! I was weighing my options between a GMTIIC and YM myself. Prices can vary between 5800-7500. MSRP is in the 10k ballpark. It is a wide range, I know but wait around here in the FOR SALE section you will find a great deal! JJ may be selling "Platty" soon!
Glad to have you!

I too want a Yacht-Master. A local jeweler has a nice two tone with silver dial. Unfortunately it' a mid-size. Too big for the wife, and too small for me. It seems as though there are a variety of dial colors in the TT and 18K models. I have seen white, blue, silver, MOP so far. A nice 40mm blue dial would satisfy my desire to own a Yacht-Master and a blue dial TT sub-date in one watch. It seems as thought the TT Yacht's are easier to find than the 40mm Platinums as well.

Welcome Jason;
Don't hesitate to ask any questions that come to mind. I assure you we've heard them all before --- probably many times. |
