I like my BB AD. Policy is no discount but discounts are a mater of the combination of repeat business and personal relationship with management....

There are two Ben Bridges in the Dallas area. I would consider both of them trustworthy even though I don't like the store manager at one of them. My wife's date-just was purchased from one of them with a 5% discount and no tax although they jacked us on the shipping out of state. A $100 shipping and handling fee when it only cost them $25 to ship it.

Also not happy about having to spend 10s of thousands of dollars on jewelery before they are willing to sell me a Daytona.

Ben Bridge is also part of AGS and GIA (highest standards) and must remain consistant in the fact that they never discount. Whether it's the day before or the day after Christmas even.

I bought my TT GMT IIc from Ben Bridge in Roseville, Minnesota. They treated my wife and I well and I love the watch. I sure would have liked a discount but they would not budge. They were very decent though.

That is a "bald faced" lie. Rolex doesn't control the price and doesn't care if an AD discounts the price. Once you get away from BB and Tourneau discounts are usually available. The discounts can vary, depending on the watch style, but the MSRP makes them worth pursuing.

I bought a tt gmt for myself and a datejust for my wife from BB. No discount on the gmt, but one on the datejust. Also found the manager to be more knowledgeable than the other AD in the area.

They also threw in a couple of goodies. A Wolf Winder and an eye loop. She also offered advise concerning my other gmt, 16750, which was consistent with the advise I got here.

Try to find an AD in a bordering state that does not have a franchise in your state. This way you can at least save 5-8% in sales tax. Also it makes negociating easier since you can call several dealers in a matter of a few mins. The best price wins!!!

I wanted to purchase my SS GMT2C from a smaller but there was a waiting period. BB had is shipped to their store in one day. It also seemed like they could check their system to see how many and what locations of a particular watch.

I hear when they get the Millgauss a fax is sent out and a snatched up in minutes. I don't know if they have a waiting list or luck of the draw.

Ben Bridge isn't limited to what is in their store. They get replenished but can also check all 80 of their stores to ship in stuff they dont have.

The Milgauss like the Daytona is allocated.

Of all the Rolex AD's in Vegas to choose from, I buy my Rolex from a Ben Bridge here, and would go no place else honestly. Since the day I walked in that store, I have been treated wonderfully, and that is what it comes down to for me. Never expected, nor asked for a discount, and as kindly as I am treated, I don't really care.

I also have the peace of mind buying from a larger AD, and get the service for the watch that I expect for the money. I can go to any BB and get cleaning and what not, minimal head ache. Extra plus.

My $2.00

I recently bought my GMT-ll (Pepsi) from them. Like others said, they don't discount the SS models, but the salesperson was very friendly and and took the time to show me what I wanted (mostly everything there). We had a lot of fun as I tried on about twenty different models. No pressure even though she knew I was only really serious about the GMT-ll.

They will discount Omega about 20%, but I've had the same "no discount" response from them on Rolex.
