GMT Bezel
I am interested in buying a GMT. In any case I want a blue-red. I heard somewhere that official Rolex Dealers will only trade to the same color (In case I get a red-black). Is this true?

tell the dealer how many you want and what color then you will leave the store with a smile on your lips. Jocke

That is not necessarily true. Historically you should be able to get any insert color you want for the GMT and earlier catalogues and advertising showed that, however, Rolex has been so hard on Dealers about exact matches the GMT gets caught up in that hype. Dealers are pretty low on the food pyramid and often get facts wrong. In Europe many places will allow you to buy another insert without question. It is much harder in the USA. Why not just pop out the old insert and go to the nearest Service Center and tell them to replace your "pepsi" insert....
