Thanks for sharing! Would've never guessed such a design on the underside of the Oysterflex. Seriously can't wait to try one for myself in person!

Nice pics.

That YM may look better in person, but not great in photos.

I liked it a lot; especially the wings on the underside of the bracelet. While the bracelet was a little too big for me, I could see how they could provide a bit of cushioning around the wrist without having the bracelet fitted snuggly.

As stated above, the bracelet will only come in 3 sizes with the only ability to adjust will be through the micro adjustments on the clasp. For those of you who often get your watches from sources other than AD's (like myself), you'd probably have to go by an AD first to determine the right size for you.

The only thing I didn't really like were the gaps between the strap and case. When I pointed that out the rolex manager, he stated he hadn't really noticed the detail until now. He stated that Rolex likely did it like that to provide some "give" to the bracelet when fitting it on due to the fact that the bracelet has some sort of titanium alloy inside.

The new DDs look fantastic!
I think I prefer the double hash on the 3, 6, 9 markers of the 36mm OP over the 39mm but will need to see first hand.

The YMII is kind of cool. But the blue dial OP with the chartreuse marker dots is kind of wonky.

Meh

I like the looks of the YM....But I think Rubber B band is better w/o the gaps.
Go Figure....Non OEM looks more OEM than OEM

I think the OP could be a perfect daily work watch and could fit well into almost any collection. Love it, in all dial colors!

The 40mm Yachtmaster is US$ 24,000. I don't remember the exact price of the 37mm, but I believe around a couple thousand less.
The DD's start around US$ 35,000

Thank you for the photos! The 40mm DD proportions are not as similar to the 36 as Rolex own photos showed. Those 39mm OP's are very very tempting!

Zero love for the YM. Seeing cell phone pics clears that right up for me. I know that sometimes "photos don't do it justice," but there is a drastic difference from the professional staged photos and real life as well.

I love the Red Grape dial. Not crazy about the red on top of it but still very good looking IMHO.

A few thoughts:
- Was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the 39mm OP. Tried on the blue, grape, and charcoal dial. Would make a great casual/daily watch, IMO
- Love the change to 40mm with the Day Date. The proportions just felt "right" in comparison to the 41mm.
- Really, really like the new Yachtmaster. It felt like it wore "smaller" than 40mm. I think due to the black bezel and black oysterflex. Really liked the "wings" (as the Regional Rolex manager called them) on the underside of the oysterflex band. Asked him about the magnifier and he remained confident it was going to remain the same as on the prototype at the event tonight.

Pics added. I apologize in advance for the quality. The over head lighting didn't help. Kinda wish I took more pics, but I didn't want to be a heel while others were waiting to look at pieces.

I am loving the WG DD w/blue dial. Wow! They should continue making awesome dials like the DD2

I really like the new OP. Can't wait to try one on. Although I use the date feature everyday several times a day, I think I can get used one of these as my daily wearer. I have a 34mm OP and an Air King, but these don't go to work with me.

That YM looks really nice, however, I think Rolex could've worked on the clasp. It looks like it was done by a consumer, switched out the bracelet with a rubber strap and kept the bracelet's clasp. At least other brands like Omega has a different type of clasp for their rubber/leather straps. Heck, even a Rolex signed tang buckle would've done the trick. It's like the idea to put it on rubber was last minute so they didn't have time to design a dedicated clasp.

I am not crazy about the dial options for the rose gold DD40. I think the new style of the roman numerals (my fav kind of dial) is not as nice as the roman numerals for the DD ii. The chocolate face on the ddii is way nicer then the options here.
