Want to add 2nd Rolex... too many great choices, NEED HELP

Good evening! I plan to add a new Rolex this week to join my Submariner LV. I have enjoyed owning my first Rolex (the Hulk) for the past 15 months, but have had an itch to add a second Rolex for about 14 months of that ownership. Here are a few things about me:

1. 35 years old

2. Career - Sales Professional (Medical Field), Moderate Travel for work.

3. Currently own a Submariner.

4. Wear a suit w/ tie to work 5 days per week.

5. My weekend casual dress is typically shorts or jeans with a polo or oxford shirt.

6. Hobbies - Golf, Fishing, Crossfit, Travel, Hanging at the pool with family.

7. Married - with 2 children.

8. Wife wears a DJ 31mm silver dial with white gold romans on jubilee.

9. Very particular about my clothes. I enjoy fashion. I have a traditional/classic style.

I have been all over the board with what I am going to buy. Here is the list of watches that I have almost pulled the trigger on in the past year:
TT Sub (Black), GMT2c, Sub ND, Exp 1, Breitling SO Heritage, DJ2 Black stick fluted bezel, TT GMT2, TT DJ2 (slate w/green romans), Exp 2 Polar.

Right now, I am leaning towards the DJ2 Black Stick dial with fluted bezel, TT GMT2, or a TT DJ2 with black or slate dial.

Has anyone added a second Rolex to their Hulk and been super happy with their decision. I know I've seen a lot of people with the BLNR, but I'm in the minority of not being a fan of that piece.

Please help with suggestions!!

Do you plan on wearing your new addition more during the week and making the hulk your weekend watch? If that's the case I like the explorer1 or TT GMT2.

Based on your information, I would go for the DJ2 or the GMT2. If you had said blue dial DJ2, that would have won.

After Submariner, I did a DateJust with diamond bezel and diamond dials. Then Daytona...now waiting on an Explorer II (polar).

If it was today, and I could change things...I would have just gotten the Explorer II.

I think the DJ2 would be an excellent addition. Wears well with dressy or casual clothes, a real allrounder

IMO you already have a perfect watch for weekends, casual situations, etc. And obviously you can pull it off with a suit. Based on #9 (classic/traditional style), I'm surprised you're rocking the green to work! If you want to stick with Rolex, I would suggest either the exp i or djii to go with the suit and tie. Or maybe consider a different brand, maybe something with a leather strap, maybe a JLC ultra thin or something similar?

Spot on. I'd do a Datejust II in a black dial as you already have something different with the LV. It also gives you a nice contrast to your current piece: no rotatable bezel, polished center links, and obviously a marginal difference in size. I'd then change the Datejust II to your work watch and save the LV for the golf course and weekends.

An Explorer is also a great option. All purpose. Different look. No date which contrasts with your Sub.

A lot of people are going to say BLNR because it does pair really well with the LV but it is still very similar in a lot of ways: ceramic bezel, date, size. If you really don't like the look of the watch but would like a GMT function either Explorer II would be a great option. I'd go black. Everyone needs a black dial Rolex.

I would add to the consensus and say either the DJ2 or the explorer. DJ2 is a little flashier if that is something you would like. For what it's worth I love my explorer as a great all around but my next watch will be flashier.

I would also suggest the GMT TTc to go with your sub.

It is one of my favourite Rolex watches and the one I wear most outside of my work watch.
An excellent choice for business or casual.

As an aside the Submariner LV is not the 'hulk'.

The 'hulk' is the green ceramic bezel/green dial LVC.

This is a Subdate LV, it has the 'old' bracelet.

Love the Hulk - Great Piece...

Suits five days a week...sharp casual on the weekends...

The classic DJII silver stick smooth bezel would be worth a look.

Clean and classic - gives you a different option during the week and weekend!

I forgot to add that my green sub was a gift from my wife for our 10th anniversary. Love the watch and it was an incredible gift, it's just not versatile enough to wear with a suit like the black dial sub is. However, I think it's the greatest casual watch available today.

I own three subs and love them. I would go with the Polar Explorer II. The size is nice and the white dial mixes it up for you. Also very wearable with a suit.

Don't think there are any 'wrong choices', but given your work involves travel then I think a GMT would not just be very stylish but also very useful!
