I'm looking to replace a damaged dial on my 1016. This is an eBay seller. Does the dial look correct?

Is the lume at the hour markers and Arabic numerals supposed to be bordered in white gold?

I realize yours is an older reference, but it certainly seems to be so on the current model.

A technical question - maybe not the right forum but relevant to this dial - is the lume on the replacement dials still tritium?

This dial is marked tritium. I'm curious if these dials are NOS, or made later using a non-T lume, but retaining the T markings for accuracy. Other than the fingerprints, this dial certainly has aged less than the original watches.

I don't know. That is a good question. I certainly hope that they are tritium. Can anyone on the forum weigh in here?

Some factory service dials are marked trit but actually are lumi. I don't know about this reference though. You got some good feedback over at VRF, I'd be inclined to heed their advice.

I can't offer an opinion on it's authenticity, but it does have a couple of fingerprints on it in one photo.
