Ladies Datejust - 'Original Rolex Design' Caseback
Hi there gents. I'm looking for a definitive answer to a question about Ladies' Rolex Datejust models.
I notice a lot of inconsistencies with images online, specifically I take issue with the font used for the calendar numbers (the font seems to vary widely) and also, more prominently, several older models have 'ROLEX ORIGINAL DESIGN' on the caseback. An example: Is this normal for Ladies' watches? I've been studiously reviewing the Watchout! section of this forum to educate myself on fake vs. real Rolex design, and while I can say I am gaining confidence in identifying male-model fakes/replicas/counterfeits etc, it is a lot harder to hone my skills on lady models due to their scarcity in the marketplace. I haven't been posting much, I spend a lot of time just browsing the forums.(namely General & Vintage Discussion, Watchout!, and Rolex FS) Thanks for your consideration. |

I don't have my reference manuals with me but for a few years that was done. One of my wife's DJs from the mid 90s has it.

Can anyone shed some light on the questions above?
