There is no way they glued it back on! They fixed it professionally and properly and YES it matches the same glow.

I would expect the pearl is pinned to the bezel.
The remains of the broken pin would be removed and a new insert pressed in? To be fair the OP's thread states "The pearl fell off my hulk". Smacking it on a door does put a different slant in the issue.
