Mike, you're right. I forgot that both the 233 and 270 are clear backcase. I moving toward the 233 for the manual wind function, just more Panerai to me. The problem, I just can't get over the "9" on the 270 dial. I will be in NYC for about 1 1/2 weeks, hope find some more PAMs. I know, maybe Chinatown have some cheap ones
