Well good news and bad news. Good news is they will custom make you one similar to these (plat is 1 of 1 and RG was 3 of 3). Bad news is $1M+ .

Great news, both have quite literally just about every complication you can think of

Awesome pieces, but the bad news is very bad, well I could sell my apartment in Paris, it would just about cover the price for 1, considering it not being more than 1 million, but then I would be homeless

At that price not sure wether I would take one of these or a Patek 5208, the AP would have a chance as if they custom make it the watch would be a piece unique, but the Patek would IMO hold it's price better than AP, but not completely sure, the AP's are awesome but I think the 42mm of the Patek would make it nicer for me, but the AP being much sportier give it another advantage IMO, anyways just dreaming but that never killed anyone as far as I know.

Too bad the RG has the sticker on it, I think it must look nicer than the PT, I just LOVE AP RG with ceramic bezel, IMO the best in the market

The worse news is that I already sold my house and gave the profits to my son so he could put a down payment on a house of his own. If I sold both my New York and Boca Raton properties, I might just be able to afford one of those APs, but neither is among my favorite watches.

Well I'm sure your son is a reasonable person and will understand that his father absolutely needs to get the money back, question of life or death, and you would just need to sell one of your 2 remaining properties

Like you I find them awesome but don't think it's the kind of pieces I would buy if a became a multimillionaire, there are other ultra high end pieces that I like more, but I must say the "piece unique" aspect does have it's appeal

Spending 1m on a watch of any kind should be reserved for folks with a 20m net worth, absolute min... Either that or a single guy that loves watches and has a few mil.

I agree, I think one should have 4-7% of everything he owns in watches, but of course if you are single and absolutely love watches you can go up a little, 10-12%

For AP it would be one of the concepts, in general, a 5208P 😂

Cabinet Piece No 4. Best Royal Oak ever made, with the possible exception of the GC.

While one of the laptimers, concepts, or any of these other really rare and innovative pieces would be amazing to own, the more I think about it, I would be really happy with a RG 44, or a RG Jumbo.

But I am absolutely in love with my 15400, so it would definitely be in that list.
