You have to read the description on this one!

This is classic, here are a couple lines from the description...

As soon as I receive payment (paypal only), I will ship the watch. Selling this watch is very painful for me. I have grown very attached to it but I am trying to keep my house and they want 10K from me. I had to re-list this because there appeared to be some issues with the original listing.

When I first got the watch, it lost a couple of seconds every day but since the links were added it keeps perfect time. Somehow the extra weight helped the watch to keep better time.

What we have here is an authentic 1997 Rolex Stainless Steel Submariner with Date. This is not a replica watch or a fake.

Also, there is an almost imperceptible scratch in the quartz crystal. Quartz?

This needs to be reported!

I reported this poor man's watch who just happened to add a couple of links to help regulate the watch's time.

I asked for the serial number and model number, his response...

Dear rusty974,

I have that information but I have to dig it up. I know the serial number started with a 'T.' The model number is '93150.' That is what the bracelet says anyways. I am pretty sure they only had one model number in 1997 and it is slightly different than the current model number. I think the current model number is '93151' or '93152' but I could be wrong. I honestly don't remember. I just remember looking it up at one point. Adam

I reported it again. He sure is getting defensive. Something is not right with his tale.

I once tightened the muffler bearings on my car and it took care of my alignment problem. Also rotated my license plates to get better gas mileage.

Damn this guy doesn't give up or get it.... he is baccckkkkk...

http://cgi.ebay.com/1997-Rolex-Subma...QQcmdZViewItem

He did add this..

I am going to the jewelry store right now so I can get the correct serial number and model number of this Rolex watch. As soon as I have the information, I will publish it here so you can verify with Rolex that this is a 1997 Rolex watch.

Oh yeah don't you love the floating in the air Rolex shot..

He emailed me...

Dear rusty974,

The serial number for this watch is 'T730430,' the model number is '16610' and the band model number is '93150.' I just got back from the jewelers and they verified that this is a real rolex submariner stainless steel watch. Why are you doing this to me? Do you have some kind of vendetta out for me or something? What did I do to you? Why don't you just let me sell my watch?

It is listed as invalid again though he will probably be back. Let's see the jewelers report.
