He states it is from 1977

He notes the serial number as Movement Caliber: Rolex 1570 hack serial number D125344, now a D serial number puts it in 2005, hmmm

I am confused he also states the Production No: 5341288 (1977), can someone shed some light on this?

where do you see D serial?I looked all over and saw no reference to that.

Look in his Technical Data box, left column 7th box down under Movement Caliber.

That Dxxxxxx is the movement number. Don't confuse it with the caseback number (the caseback number equals serial number).
The movement number is associated with its chronometer ratings and you need to quote the movement number to obtain that chronometer certificate (if you really want to...)

Actually it looks like a very nice sample, except that I don't like to bid in private auctions.
