Thoughts on a two tone 5402 acquisition?
I have found locally a two tone gold/steel. And I need your kind input on this buy. Is it worth it, is better than the 15202 in terms of value at it's price point of nearly $11k?
Baring in mind it was serviced professionally by x JLC watchmaker. It comes with letter of Authenticity from it's origin without orignal box or paper. Thanks in advance, |

There are a couple of red flags I can see in the information you provided. Tread lightly.

The 5402SA is beautiful watch with its oversized 39 mm back in 70s. If everything is genuine and I wouldn't to buy. It is such classic and you don't see them often.

The only issue is resale, two-tones tend to have a much longer resale period (unless vastly underpriced) than comparable all-steel or gold models. The price sounds about right for a vintage two-tone, so if it is functional go for it. Pics please!
