Smoothy for Lunch Anyone?
Scaling back on the "bad foods" and trying to eat more "good foods" before we go on vacation to Peru Machu Picchu and the Amazon. I guarantee we are going to eat and drink more than normal!

So funny... I just made a smoothie.
1 scoop of whey (Designer Whey, actually!) 1 ripe banana 1 cup of mixed, frozen berries 1 large tablespoon of Fage 2% ~4oz of water It took about 30 seconds to make and it was really good |

Looks good. Be careful with that sugary fruit--sugar turns to fat. And that shredded coconut will pack on the pounds (but tastes good).

Agreed too much sugary fruit can be a problematic. Wife informed me we used unsweetened coconut.

There's very little to fear in eating fruits in their natural state (blender mulching aside)
The sugars to steer clear of are the refined, processed ones By the way, if you like your smoothies on the more frozen side, simply freeze the fruits the night before (good idea to slice the banana first) . Eliminates the need for added ice
