ETA on DD40 (228238)?

Have any of you Rolex connoisseurs heard an estimated time of arrival for the upcoming Day Date 40 in yellow gold? I'm interested in trying on a 228238.

My AD in Guam guesstimates September soonest however I think we'll have it here in Tooky by June. This one has me all wet.

Oops... I read the title and thought why the hell would somebody think that the DD40 would have an ETA movement? It's still early in the morning...

Sorry for my ETA comment. I confess to being a watch newbie.

The fall seems like a long time to be made available. I'm hoping for summer releases to the higher end boutiques.

How many of you are fairly serious about considering the DD40?

Can't speak for other parts of the world, but all DD 40's have been available in Vancouver Canada for nearly a month now.

Just came back from the AD this afternoon and was looking at the RG version again.

I am eager to test ride this watch. I typically order online. I found that some ebayers have some DD40s such as Sant Blanc, Watches R Us, and Jomashop.

Caveat emptor!

You might end up with little savings plus no real warranty.

This is true. One must always be aware or beware. I typically research and go through the usual check list: reviews, white market or gray market, msrp vs. sale price, etc.

I was in Galway, Ireland a couple of weeks ago and saw one in an ADs shop window. My wife pulled me in the other direction however so I didn't get to go in. Probably a good thing.......
