Smurf changes?

Have there been any changes to the white gold/blue dial submariner since the M or V serial numbers (2007 and 2008)?

I tried a search but was unsuccessful. Thanks

Only the glide lock clasp. Shorter on the older and it had a minor difference in the inner workings. Just google glide lock differences.

Smurf changes?.
The Smurfs was a Belgian comic and television franchise centered on a fictional colony of small blue creatures who live in mushroom-shaped houses in the forest. The Smurfs was first created and introduced as a series of comic characters by the Belgian comics artist Peyo (pen name of Pierre Culliford) in 1958, where they were known as Les Schtroumpfs. There are more than one hundred Smurf characters, and their names are based on adjectives that emphasize their characteristics, such as "Jokey Smurf", who likes to play practical jokes on his fellow smurfs. "Smurfette" was the first female Smurf to be introduced in the series. The Smurfs wear Phrygian caps, which came to represent freedom during the modern era.

The word “Smurf” is the original Dutch translation of the French "Schtroumpf", which, according to Peyo, is a word invented during a meal with fellow cartoonist André Franquin, when he could not remember the word salt.[3]

The Smurfs franchise began as a comic and expanded into advertising, films, TV series, ice capades, video games, theme parks, and dolls.The Smurfs fulfill simple archetypes of everyday people: "Lazy Smurf", "Grouchy Smurf", "Brainy Smurf", and so on. All Smurfs, with the exception of Papa, Baby, Smurfette, Nanny and Grandpa, are said to be 100 years old. There were originally 99 Smurfs, but this number increased as new Smurf characters appeared, such as Sassette and Nanny. All of the original Smurfs were male; later female additions are Smurfette and Sassette—Smurfette being Gargamel's creation, while Sassette was created by the Smurflings.

The 116619LB did'nt have had any modification by my knowledge sinds it was launched at Basel 2008. Bracelet-number for the whitegold Sub is 97209 btw.

The only thing what I've noticed, is that the date magnification on the ones that came out sinds 2014 are a bit different. Looks smaller, cleaner and nicer imo. I have read a lot about the differences in magnifications these days here on TRF, but it does'nt bother me.

Has anyone seen if the newer 116619LB's are being released with the non flat blue dials? I know the TT and YG blue suds have an updated deeper sunburst blue dial but I wasn't sure if Rolex would make the change on the WG model too

The dials of the 116619LB never been changed or updated. They are all flat "Smurfy" blue. There is no sunburst dial for the WG Sub.

~~~sorry to hear you were a victim of thieving, and I can't blame you for not wanting the same watch as a replacement. We had a robbery one night, unbeknownst until the next morning when my wife found several cages with birds in them, empty. They weren't inexpensive birds either. Although this happened in 2007, my memory of the event is foggy and I can't remember if it was three or four pairs of birds stolen. All but one bird was recovered a month later. Despite the return of our property we still had losses totaling close to $40 K which the judge had the defendants re-pay through state restitution proceedings, and all three criminals paid up. To this day I can't sleep through the night so I can identify with your loss
The burglars stole your birds? I would go out of my mind crazy if someone stole my Conures. They can have anything in the house, but not my pets.
Glad you all but one back. Hopefully the other one is well taken care of by someone.
They told the police that apprehended them, that the one bird died, on the way back to Flint MI (yes, they drove from MI to Fla. to steal our birds)...they stuffed them in plastic cargo boxes (Tupperware containers). Who knows what happened to the one missing bird...thieves are liars, you can't believe anything they say
Apologies in advance to the OP...I didn't mean to hijack his thread
