I don't love it and I don't hate it, but I do like it.
I think the black bezel is a Rolex trademark, so definitely recognizable. |

Nice SD! The most unrecognized? I don't think it's even close to that.
I had a Yacht-Master for a short time and everyone who actually noticed it thought it was a Tag! Paul |

Since I got mine I hardly ever wear anything else. I love that it isn't blingy/showy nobody knows what it is and gets no attention except my constantly checking to see what time it is. It goes as well with a tux as a wet suit. Did I mention I love my sea dweller?

I came close but being a technical person and a bit fidgity, I would be pushing whatever I had my hands on into that gas port for sure. A toothpick, paperclip, my finger during boring [many] meetings, a pen cap...whatever I could. What DOES happen if you poke something into that thing? I JUST GOTTA KNOW....THROW ME A BONE HERE!!!!! DOES IT MAKE A PSSSST SOUND? ANYTHING??? Oh and for sure I would be pressing it underwater [in the local pool] because I just would have to release some helium or see bubbles come out. Oh I am so glad I never got that one.
Yes I must stay away from things like that. And don't get me started on the Daytona! HELP MEEEEEE!!!! alas some humor.

1997 model 993. I love it and the mileage it gets is great now with gas prices rising. I get 30+ mpg. TRUE! Not bad for a 6 cylinder 6 speed! Get them while you can! Last of the "air cooled 6's". Thanks for asking!!!

The demise of the 993 marks the demise of the 911 as we know it. The 993 is the last of the true Carreras. As a fellow Porsche owner and true car enthusiast, I salute you and that beautiful, raw machine of yours. I don't like what Porsche has done with the 996 and 997, but what can you do other than go pre-owned 993 (which, by the way, are in many cases more expensive than pre-owned 996 or 997s).
How long have you had that machine? Porsche=The Rolex of sports cars |
