What does Service dail mean?
I know I'm new here and bet this gets asked about as much as how often do you change your motor oil? But it was mentioned by some that it looks like my 1680 has a "Service dail" and replacement acrylic crystal. Is the service dail acceptable or is there an actual Rolex dail that should have been used?

It just means the watch went in for service and the dial was replaced with a new Rolex dial. It is perfectly acceptable and genuine Rolex but collectors prefer the original dials and the patina that goes along with them. All things equal a watch with the original dial, hands and insert is worth more than one with service parts.
