Jumbo 1-1/2 Link Thoughts
Still trying to figure out the bracelet on this one. I acquired a "1-1/2" link a while back and have been replacing it on and off with two regular links when the weather heats up or cools down. Would love to find a good happy medium where I don't have to visit the boutique every 4 months!
Here are my thoughts, which I'm hoping some of you Jumbo wearers can comment on. The "1-1/2" link isn't really 1-1/2 of a regular link at all...it's more like 1-1/3 of a regular link (8mm versus 6mm). My thought is to have TWO of the 1-1/2 links put in place of THREE regular links. My math works out to a net loss of 2mm using this set-up...which in my mind is not a combination that you can achieve easily with only 1-1/2 link in the bracelet. I'd have to spring for another half link, but it may solve the problem. I know I'm over-thinking this but the bracelet is driving me nuts without a micro-adjustment. I'd hate to have to give up the watch simply becasue of frustration with sizing the bracelet.

It should just have space to move around, in general the AP bracelet and heat dont go well together i also encountered this issue with the bracelet feeling tight from the sweat on my wrists. At the end of the day i dont know how large your wrist size is size is since, you didnt mention it. Got around that issue by rotating watches

Bracelets without micro adjustments are tough to make perfect.

You're over thinking it. The bracelet should have a little play in it. Not enough where it slides all the way down your wrist, but it should be just below the wrist bone.
If getting an absolute perfect fit every day, and not having the watch move a little on your wrist are the most important factors for you - you may want to stick with a glidelock clasp. Just my

One thing you may wish to try is to alter the balance between the links on both sides of the clasp. Because of the relative stiffness of the bracelet, wearing it slightly off center could give you enough "play" to make it comfortable.
I just wear my 25860 a pinch loose and it seems to work in most conditions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Having made the same flip,
even though the magnificent 15202 fit me like a glove. I think you would be very happy Ps coincidentally I just added the 1.5 link to the 5711.

small rant - these guys (AP / PP) should have that link come on the bracelet when NIB. making you pay $200 after spending these amounts is ridic, just to get your watch to fit.....I also had to add a 1.5 to my 5711. 15202 seems to work for me on 6.5er
