Micro adjustment GMT Master II 116710LN

Hi, I just got my first Rolx GMT Master II 116710LN.
After a few hours it seems that the bracelet does not fit comfortably. When easy-link is closed it is a bit tight and when easy-link is open as shown in image bellow, it is a little bit loose.
As you can see Micro adjustment is set at the first slot of the bracelet tube.
I assume I would need +2.5mm more when easy-link is closed.
Could you please guide me what do I need to do.
Your recommandation/support is highly appriciated.

Sorry I can't see the image however it can easily be micro-adjusted, take it back in to the authorized dealer you bought it from or any Rolex authorized dealer and they will adjust it for you usually for no charge. If you happen to be in a city that has a Rolex repair center by all means visit them I'm sure I'll be able to take care of you

I believe what you are referring to gets you 3.3mm difference. I usually wear my watch with the easy link closed so that I have room to expand when I'm out in the heat.

Try moving the micro adjustment to the middle holes?

I use the easy link umpteen times every day on my Rolexes. Bought a new watch last week (as it happens, a 116710LN) and altered the micro adjustment yesterday. It is very easily done either with a springbar tool or a 1.2mm screwdriver.

My advice is....if it is ALWAYS slightly too tight with the easylink closed, then move up the micro adjustment. If it is ok at times when your wrist is smaller, then leave it as is.

You don't adjust for the EZ-link, that's a temporary comfort adjustment.

If your bracelet is too tight with the micro adjustment all the way out, put one of those links that was taken out back in and move the micro in a couple spots..



or wait until December when it will fit just right..

Thank you, though If I add another link to the barcelet, the length increases by 10mm and I can make it shorter with the mico adjustmemt up to 7.5mm shorter, Am I correct?

you really shouldn't need to add a link, you can move it into the middle holes and that should fix the issue if it doesn't take it into an ad especially if you're not familiar with moving the links around I would take it into an ad anyway just to make sure you don't end up scratching it best of luck

Not really the best advice as then he'd need to wear it with the easy-link open all the time, which somewhat defeats the purpose of it.

Like Larry said, OP should add a link back in and move to a smaller Micro setting.

If a full link is too much, consider a half link.

I had the same issue with my Exp II. The two options you have would be sourcing the half link that comes with SS subs (note center link will be brushed and not match your PCLs) or source a glidelock from a sub (also not polished and much more expensive). I did both, and found myself much happier with the way the glidelock centered the entire watch for me. YMMV. Cheers!

As Larry mentioned add a link and have the micro adjustment of the easylink moved to the middle slot with the easy link closed. it should solve your issues.

if it doesn't; work around the micro adjustments.

I would follow Larry's advice. If the full link is too much even with the micro adjustment in the tightest setting, source a Subc half link and try that.

I got a half link from my AD and it made a world of difference for me. The micro adjustments in the clasp will change the 12 o'clock side length. I fiddled with changing those, adding and removing links, but for me it came down to the fact that I needed the 6 o'clock side just a little bit shorter for the watch head and clasp to both be centered. Half link did the trick.
