Why are so many people congratulating in this thread? It is obviously a fake watch and OP was already refunded.

Yeah it makes no sense. Some people don't even read any of it? Glad the fake watch sale is resolved at least

Funny you should pick Bas, the guy is training to be a watchmaker, probably knows more about watches than half the forum put together.

In my opinion this thread needs to be closed. We're no more concerned about this watch...

I disagree. This will help people in the future spot a fake watch. I wish he would post who he bought this watch from, so anyone else buying from him can take the extra steps to make sure what they are buying is real!

Thread should stay open. I myself have learned a lot, more of what to look for in purchasing non-AD. This type of thread serves a purpose as far a I'm concerned.

I think this thread is a great example that no one, regardless of reputation or knowledge is safe from ending up with a fake. I personally would be totally embarrassed if something like this were to happen to me, at the end of the day, the reason why I am here is to learn more and become a better collector. I am glad this was resolved.

I would prefer that this thread stays open so that we can see how many more people will "congratulate" the OP.

Would have been great if the OP had taken pics of the movement so we'd know what to look for.

This guy is fishy and I feel he just wanted to show off that he has (thought) an AP

Why wouldn't you mention the seller to aware us of it so we can be careful dealing with that so called trusted seller?

+1
Why he never posted the movement pic when requested?
It's so easy for me to run over 'I got refunded'... I'm sorry but I can't believe in this story

When I originally posted, didn't look closely at the dial.
But who would expect it to be a fake on this AP forum?

Strange that the OP's first look at the movement wouldn't have raised suspicion.
Yeah, a movement pic would be interesting to see...

Also, "Swiss Made" at 6 o'clock is not lined up properly with the minute indices. This is always a quick way to spot a fake in most watches.
