AP ROO RG 42mm Gold Dial - reviews and opnions
Hi! I already have the novelty Rg 44mm. Will I find the 42mm on Strap - too small in comparison. As I think I might have posted this question earlier but I will be ordering the watch without trying it on. Any pros or cons? Or should I just go for it. For many like myself AP ROO with a full gold bezel is a grail and a must. Looking forward to hearing from All. I
Thank you regards Urooj |

The number 1 thing i always do before buying a watch is trying it unless you must have it and theres no possible way of trying it then yeah go for it my opinion wont change anything

Ditto. Over the years, I have been obsessed with a certain watch for months, then finally try it on and been disappointed. Some look so good in pics, then underwhelmed in the flesh. You might want to try it on.

Honestly speaking, I don't think that's a good idea. I have always tried all my watches before I buy except one ( which luckily turn out well for me ). Nothing can replicate the the look and feel of actually handling the actual watch. And just MHO, I think the RG44 is superior to the RG42. Unless you find the smaller size appealing. A full gold bezel is actually a minus as it can be a scratch/ding magnet. |

This is true the other way also, some watches you see in pics don't tickle your fancy but when you see it in person and trying it on you get obsessed with it.

And there are a few JLCs and Rolex watches I would have bought if I just relied on pics that would have disappointed me when I got them.

If it had a black or white dial I would say go ahead but as this has a unique mustard/gold dial that is very polarising it is quite a big risk to buy unseen. At least make sure you can return it easily if you change your mind first.
