Royal Oak daydate 25594 opinions?

Hello,

I'm looking to buy a Royal Oak 25594, because I only bought omega and rolex earlier I wanted to ask here first if I need to think about anything special before making the move.

For example we have this on chrono24, 25594 would you say this is a good buy? Is the price good compared to the case, bezel and bracelet?
I have emailed the seller for service history but not got any response yet.
What I have heard the service of royal oaks is quiet expensive compared to vintage rolex, is that correct?

Best regards
Jakob

Not an AP expert by far(recently picked up my first a 15400). The watch you're looking at its only 36mm and over 30 years old. You can also see a lot wear on it and no box and papers , which would be a big deal for me. I think I'd keep looking.

Sorry, but a commercial seller (or private for that matter), that calls that watch ‘mint’ and in “excellent condition” can feck right off.
You’d spend at least half as much again, not to mention paying VAT on import too, getting that thing anywhere near mint condition.
You’d be better off going to Russia and buying the black dial one for not much more.

Fortune may indeed favour the brave, but that one may be best avoided, since AP wouldn’t even entertain quoting you an approximate price without physically examining it.
Should you be brave enough to give it a punt, you’d really be wanting a good bit off its listed price.

Thanks for the answers,it's probably a no go then.
Can someone give me a hint of what the market value should be for this one? Haven't seen so many others around actually and really starting to like to dial. At first I was in for a 14790 but since it's hard to find a nice example I slowly drifted toward 25594.

I know my question is hard to answer without looking at the watch, appreciate every answer I get :)
