Registered Mail Delivery Time

Hello to all, Im really new to the Forum. This would be my first post.
Anyhow I recently bought a Rolex from the Boutique last week and I had them shipped it out from Waikiki Hawaii to LA. They insisted on registered mail by USPS. It has been a week. Can anyone please tell me if I should be worried??

Thanks in advance for the reply and comments

Why not just use the registration number to check the tracking?

I did, but it seems to be doing very little to nothing. It had beneath the Los Angeles Facility for the last two and a half days. That was the last update. It's only 20 miles or so from my place.

Registered Mail is the safest way to ship anything. That is the way Rolex ships their watches to dealers too. The packages are passed from person to person thru a very secure chain of events, and each person responsible has to sign receipt of the package.

I would not worry about it as it is also the shipping method that allows the highest insurance values. Way higher than UPS or FedEx.

I've sent watches this way and it took about one week from Houston to NYC, so I would expect at least the same from Hawaii.

Cheers and congrats on the new watch!

I've had them take as little as 5 and as much as 14 days. No worries.

Yes, USPS Registered is slow, but 100% reliable. I heard that the USPS tracking system does not show the USPS office locations while the package is en-route due to security reasons.

I think its time the USPS gets with the program and provide legit
tracking like UPS FEDEX, not that leap of faith sham they call a tracking number.
How hard can it possibly be? smh

I shipped a watch from MI to MA on friday and it got there yesterday. I shipped it right before they closed too on Friday. They told me it could take a bit longer than priority though as everyone has to sign for it and stuff. I wouldn't worry though, it's in good hands.
