time.gov question?
Does anyone know how to get time.gov as an app on their iphone? Not even an app but to have an icon that can be seen on the phone's selection screen? I know I'm not doing a very good job at describing this but hopefully someone can figure out what I'm trying to say......
I want to be able to just go to the website without having to type in "time.gov" into Safari or Google each time. In case you haven't figured it out, I'm not real tech savvy. |

A good iphone app to use is Watchville. It has a great function to set the time, with a tone counting down to the exact minute. It also has links to articles from MANY different online watch magazines.

Ken, watchville is great, but watchtracker is better although it's a paid app, 4.99 I think. Watchtracker does the math for you and puts everything into graph form plus you don't have to check the time at the same time every day, it computes by the hour I believe.

When you are on the time.gov website you can choose to add that webpage to your homescreen. That's the easiest way to add it and "act" like an App.

can I ask why you wan't time.gov's time on your home screen? Most cell phones displayed time use GPS time sync to atomic clocks which are pretty accurate.
