Tudor Black Bay Black or Sub ND?
I've had an itch for a Sub ND for a while. I am also very intrigued and love the new BBN.
Do you think the Tudor Black Bay will scratch the itch for a Sub ND? I don't want to end up buying both of them. |

Tough question and you should try and compare both. For me would be easy and Rolex as not much of a fan of the Tudors. I have looked and tried in but they just don't do it for me. Many here swear but them and love them though so clearly taste is subjective! Also I would get Sub over ND.

I own both but have been wearing various subs for over 20 years. I would not have gotten into the Tudors as strong if I had not taken care of my Rolex collection first. Both are great but as a first it would be the Sub.

I love the new BBN but if the Subc was your first love I would let that story play out first.

I think either, but this one would bring just a little bigger smile when I looked down at her...

The Sub ND would be my first choice. The dial is simple & classy.

I had the same dilemma not that long ago but I have a BBN and my itch for a sub has subsided!

I vote Sub on this one. I have tried to scratch an itch with another watch only to end up flipping it later at a loss. The Sub is in a very different league than the Tudor in my opinion.

If you buy a black bay you'll only end up having to buy a sub anyway.
There's no substitue. |

I vote Sub, but the Tudor would give you some variety since you already have some Rolex.

Both, but if one over the other, the 114060 comes first for me.

Both are nice IMO. But if I have choice, I will choose the old sub model with aluminium insert instead.

No one ever dreams of owning a Tudor.

"Do you think the Tudor Black Bay will scratch the itch for a Sub ND?"
I've got the red BB, and still have a hankerin' for a Sub ND. I don't think the black BB would cure me, either. Maybe a vintage Tudor sub might, but for that money I could get a used Rolex. |

Perhaps buying both pre owned when there is used availability on the Tudor? I can't see myself owning my Black Bay without my Submariner

Submariner if it was a 14060M, I hate the maxi case on the ceramic subs. So out of the SubC and BBN I choose the Black Bay.

As you have a couple Rolex, the BB may scratch the itch.
But if you really wanted the ND sub, you will be settling for second best. But if you just want a diver, go BB and save a bunch of $. I know one day I will get a BB red, I just know it will happen. But I do not see it replacing my sub. To me there is only one brand called Rolex. |

Both is the correct answer. Buy both from a trusted seller and you will spend approx. the same as you would buying a Sub new from an AD.

No. Tudor black bay doesn't scratch the itch for the Sub ND.

Tudor Black Bay Black or Sub ND?
Similar but different...
Get the Sub first... Since the BB is really hard to find at a discount for now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
